Sketch Design Cut Sew
My first lesson in sewing happened at home with my mum. I wanted to help her out with sewing a pocket on a shirt. I sewed it wrong she broke down the elements of how and why you do things, which I understood. I watched some youtube videos and from sewing a pocket I went on to sew my first t-shirt and have been designing and sewing since.
I sketch my ideas, chose fabric, sew the items it’s all trial and error until I’m happy with it. I can sit at a sewing machine all day letting my imagination run wild there’s no limits on where I can take something. When creating, I’m free to express how I want my clothes to look. I wear them out get compliments and feedback and people ask where they can get what I’ve made, it’s the reason I’m starting this brand for everyone who wants to wear what I wear.
